Remember when you were young and most decisions in your life were made for you?
Someone in your life decided what you would wear, where you would go to school and possibly who some of your early friends were.
Yep, I remember the oh so itchy polyester dress that my mother made just for me!
So here you are now smack in the middle of adulthood, and you have the freedom to make all of these decisions for yourself.
Exciting and possibly overwhelming at the same time, right?
Freedom is a great thing as long as you make choices that liberate you instead of holding you back in life.
What freedom do you desire at this point in your life?
Do you desire financial freedom, emotional freedom, or freedom just to be yourself? And what does having that freedom mean to you?
Do you desire financial freedom…busting free of a dead-end job? Getting your financial ducks in order?
Or maybe emotional freedom is what you need…breaking away from a one-sided relationship?
Or maybe just the freedom to be yourself without needing anyone else’s permission?
The hubby and I were recently in Asheville, NC, and what I loved about that city was the freedom I saw in people who were just being themselves. Personal expression can be such a cool thing (and makes for great people watching)!
What could having these freedoms mean in your life? Can you see how making these choices can liberate you?
