Receiving Is The Gift You Give Yourself

If you have any kids in your life, you know how much kids love receiving. All you have to do is look at their smiling faces and see the excitement that celebrating a birthday brings. 

What’s so great about kids (especially younger ones) is that they are living in the present moment and are not questioning whether or not they are worthy enough to receive. 

It’s all about the excitement of living in the moment and receiving is just part of that. Gotta love that!

Waking up this morning to a winter wonderland was nothing but magical.  The wet snow clinging to the branches of the trees before making its descent to the ground was awe-inspiring.

Seeing the snow clinging to the trees had me wondering where in your life might you be clinging to something that no longer adds to your life in any way?  It could be a relationship that no longer brings you joy, a belief system that needs updating or letting go of expectations you place on yourself and others.

Happy New Year!!  I love the beginning of a new year. It’s filled with so much possibility and excitement. Every day can be a fresh start but moving into a new year is something magical.

It’s a good time to reflect on the past year. Most likely your year was filled with ups and down (that’s life, right?) but what about focusing on all of the positive things that happened over the past year. Taking time to reflect can be a very eye opening experience.
