WELCOME, I'M Anne!

YOUR Validation Is All YOU Need!

YOUR Validation Is All YOU Need

Are you continually seeking the approval of others?

Just imagine what your life would be like if you were no longer seeking validation outside of yourself.

You aren’t looking for others to validate who you are, but instead, you become your own greatest cheerleader–skirt and pom poms optional!

Our ego wants to know that we’re unconditionally loved and accepted and that often leads us to look outside of ourselves for reinforcement.

But what if you stop looking outside yourself, and learn how to build yourself up?  I’m not talking about  getting overly confident about who you are, but more about relaxing into the knowledge that you are enough just the way you are.  That’s right. You are enough through all parts of your life, especially the messy times.

Change doesn’t happen overnight, but over time you can make conscious choices about how to move forward in your life and be more accepting of yourself.

Let’s start small.  You got your kids out the door for school–some days this feels HUGE! You had food and got dinner on the table, or you got yourself to work on time every day.  Give yourself a big high five! Yay, you!

It’s easy to brush off the small things as not being important, but those small things add up over time.  It’s okay to pat yourself on the back to acknowledge what you’ve done.

When we start to look outside of ourselves, we begin to get in trouble.  We begin to let the outside world define who we are. We focus on what other people think. Sounds crazy, but it happens all the time.

One way to think about this is you’re creating a strong foundation for your life.  Each time you say something positive to yourself, you’re adding another brick to the foundation.

Creating a strong foundation will give you a greater understanding of who you are and the support you need when your confidence is challenged.  No need to look outside yourself for someone else to tell you how great you are!

Knowing who you are and what matters most to you, helps you to set healthy boundaries in your life.  Boundaries allow you to live a fuller life while honoring what matters most to you.

I challenge you to take a few minutes for yourself to get into the feeling of what it would be like when you are no longer seeking outside validation.  Maybe you’ll feel your shoulders relax, and feel a greater sense of peace.

Would you like support to help you step more fully into your life?  It can be easy to think “I’ve got this covered,” but the accountability piece, having a partner, can be a game changer.
